President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number staff changes on October 17 appointing ambassadors to Israel, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and replacing head of Tajik general consulate in Yekaterinburg (Russia), according to the Tajik president’s official website.   

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nasreddin Ismatullo was concurrently appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Bangladesh. 

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia Ardasher Qodiri was concurrently appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia and Thailand.  

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to India Sulton Rahimzoda was concurrently appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka.  

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Imom Sodiq was concurrently appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Israel.  

Besides, by president’s decree Zafar Saidzoda, former Senior Advisor of the Office of Presidential Aide for Foreign Policy, was appointed to head Tajikistan’s General Consulate in Yekaterinburg (Russia).  

Khurshed Ziyoi was appointed Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Tajikistan.  

Sharaf Sheralizoda was appointed the First Deputy Head of the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest). 

Abdusattor Fattohzoda, who had previously served as chief of the Interior Ministry Juvenile Crime Prevention Service, was appointed Tajikistan’s Plenipotentiary Representative to the Bureau for Coordination of the Fight Against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the Territory of the CIS Member Nations, replacing Rustam Miralizoda, who was relieved of this post in connection with transfer to other job.
