As part of his working trip to the Khatlon province, President Emomali Rahmon on May 29 visited his hometown, Danghara.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the head of state inaugurated a new building of the local court.  

He reportedly also attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new office for the organization of the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) in Danghara.

The five-story office of the ruling party in Danghara is expected to be commissioned by September 2021.

While in Danghara, Rahmon visited local bazaar Kayonoush and go acquainted with achievements of local farmers.  

On May 28, the head of state inaugurated a number of facilities in Bokhtar, the capital of the Khatlon province.
