Dushanbe police have launched the Teen Operation to detect teenagers strolling idly around the city and going out in public without face masks.
Over the first day (June 9) of the Operation alone, 93 teens strolling around the city without face masks have been detected in the city, according to the Dushanbe Police Department press center.
83 of them have reportedly been allowed to go home after the prophylactic and awareness-rising conversation, while eight others have been taken to the Dushanbe police reception center for vagrancy.
The Dushanbe Police Department warns that parents, whose children are strolling idly around the city and without face masks, can be subject to administrative e proceedings.
Recall, Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali on June 8 ordered relevant municipal officials to tighten preventing measures, including mandatory wearing of face masks in public and disinfection of streets, working and public places, passenger terminals, public transport, shops and health care facilities.
