President of the Republic Emomali Rahmon today at the military parade held in Dushanbe in honor of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan called on soldiers, officers and reservists of the Tajik army not to lose political vigilance.
He congratulated the parade participants on the main holiday of Tajikistan, said that the people of the country will never forget those of their sons and daughters who gave their lives in the name of restoring the constitutional order in the republic, ensuring peace and harmony on Tajik land.
«We are proud that today thousands of our citizens honestly and conscientiously serve the Motherland and believe that they will continue to fulfill this mission with honor», - said the president.
The President stressed that the people and government of Tajikistan, in the person of the soldiers and officers of the national army, see the defenders of peace, stability, unity and national interests.
Emomali Rahmon stressed that recently the situation in the region and the world with the emergence of new challenges in the face of terrorists, extremists, radicals, drug groups, illegal arms trafficking, cybercrime has worsened.
In this regard, the head of state called on representatives of the Armed Forces and security agencies of Tajikistan not to lose political vigilance, to constantly improve their skills and knowledge.
More than 15 thousand Tajik soldiers and officers and 30 thousand reservists took part in the military parade of units and formations of the Dushanbe garrison.
