By president’s decree Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda has been relieved of his post of Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistani connection with transition to another job, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Rahmon signed the decree today morning.
By another president’s decree, Rahimjon Saidzoda, who had previously served as Head of the Branch of the Moscow-based National University of Science and Technology (MISiS) in Dushanbe, was appointed Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, replacing Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda.
Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda had served as Minister of Education and Science since 2020.
Rahimjon Saidzoda was born on June 7, 1968 in Hamadoni district of Khatlon province.
In 1993 he graduated from the Tajik Polytechnic Institute named after Muhammad Osimi. From 1993 to 2005, he had worked at the Tajik Polytechnic Institute. Saidzoda has a scientific degree of Doctor of Engineering.
From 2005 to 2005, Saidzoda served as Director of the Polytechnic College at the Technic University of Tajikistan.
From 2011 to 2015, he served as Head of the Sate Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Education at the Ministry of Education and Science.
From 2017 to January 2020, Saidzoda served as Head of the Directorate for Basic and Secondary Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education and Science.
From January 2020 to February 21, 2022, he served as Head of the Branch of the Moscow-based National University of Science and Technology (MISiS) in Dushanbe.
