On March 23, President Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, over the deadly terrorist attack that took place in the Russian city of Krasnogorsk on the evening of March 22.
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, we were deeply saddened by the news of a brutal terrorist attack on the "Crocus City Hall" complex near Moscow, as a result of which a large number of Russian citizens were killed and injured.
“We strongly condemn this unjustifiable act of inhuman violence.
“In these sad moments, I express my sincere condolences and sympathy to you, the families and relatives of the deceased and all the friendly people of Russia. We wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured," reads the telegram
