DUSHANBE, May 13, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Resident of the northern city of Panjakent, Azizjon Ghafforov, 34, has been detained by local police officers on suspicion of having being involved in drug trafficking, the Interior Ministry’s website reported on May 13.
77.81 kilograms of narcotics were reportedly confiscated from him. A totaled included 75.95 kilograms of raw opium and 1.86 kilograms of heroin.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Azizjon Ghafforov and an investigation is under way.
