DUSHANBE, December 16, 2014, Asia-Plus – An expert group on coordination of a draft agreement between the Government of Tajikistan and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on the conditions of presence of the Regional Operation Group of the Bureau for Coordination of the Fight against Organized Crime and other Serious Crimes in the Territory of the CIS Member States (BCFOC) in Tajikistan will meet in Minsk, Belarus from December 18-19.
Established in September 1993, the Bureau for Coordination of the Fight against Organized Crime and other Serious Crimes in the Territory of the CIS Member States, with headquarters in Moscow, is a permanently functioning body intended for ensuring an efficient cooperation between the interior ministries of the CIS member nations in combating organized crime, terrorism, drug trafficking and other serious crimes.
The Bureau is managed by the Council of Interior Ministers of the CSI Member Nations.
