Defense Minister, Sherali Mirza, summed up the fall conscription into the armed forces of the country.

Faridun Mahmadaliev, the Ministry of Defense Spokesperson, told Asia-Plus that the Minister, speaking at a meeting with the military commissars of cities, provinces and districts, noted that the overall quantitate quality of conscriptions into the army also includes various individual facts of rude action of the staff towards the conscripts, while not taking into account the physical and educational level of the future soldiers of the national army.

According to the Defense Ministry, Sherali Mirza removed Leautenant-Colonel Farrukh Qudratov, Military Commander of Penjikent, and his deputy from their positions, for rude attitude towards Abdujabbar Rustamov, the father of a conscript, who was beaten by the Military Commander’s Office staff.

Investigation is ongoing by the prosecutor’s office in regards to other staff members of the Military Commander’s Office of Penjikent, who tried to conscript the young person by force.
