Dushanbe. 7 September. “Asia Plus” -- In the ongoing joint operation by the security forces were eliminated four members of Abduhalimov Nazarzoda`s group, a degraded Deputy Defense Minister of Tajikistan.

According to the Interior Ministry, in the course of the operation the Interior Ministry and National Security Committee detained seven members of the group, were seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including 18 Kalashnikov rifles, 50 shops and a variety of ammunition.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Committee for National Security of the Republic would like to thank all the citizens who provided their assistance in the destruction of A.M. Nazarzoda`s gang. Citizens, who contribute to the elimination of this criminal group, will be awarded by the power structures of the republic", - reported at the Interior Ministry.

Joint operations in the country''s power structures in Ramit Gorge of Vahdat district to eliminate the terrorist groups are continuing.

Recall that the Interior Ministry has also previously reported about the detention of two officers of the Defense Ministry of Tajikistan for "assistance and complicity" in the implementation of armed attacks on September 4 in Dushanbe and Vahdat. Colonel Mustafo Nazarov, deputy commander for political education of landing assault brigade of Ministry of Defense, and Major Yusufov Naseem, Senior Inspector of the Department of Finance and Budget of the Ministry of Defense were also detained.

Interior Ministry claims that "these persons knew about the planned attack and were able to report about them, but their inaction and complicity with criminals caused the death of innocent people".

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan does not comment the accusations against the officers. The Interior Ministry, despite the fact that at the moment detained about 20 members of the group, still has not named the motives that drove the attackers and their purpose.

Recall, on September 4 at 4:28 was an armed attack on DMIA in Vahdat, as well as the on the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, where Khoja Halim`s group awarded a large number of weapons and ammunition. At the moment, the Interior Ministry reports about the elimination of 13 and detention of 19 members of the group. Nazarov''s younger brother has yield to authorities.
