DUSHANBE, October 8, 2015, Asia-Plus – Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda yesterday met here with activists of the “Avangard” group (Vanguard) that was set up in late August this year to combat the speared of radical ideas among Tajik youth.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports that the minister noted at the meeting that expansion of cooperation with the public in preventing crime was one of priorities of Tajik police.
The meeting reportedly focused on issues related to cooperation between the law enforcement authorities and the population in preventing youth from joining extremist and terrorist organizations.
