DUSHANBE, May 30, 2016, Asia-Plus – Director of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan, Sherkhon Salimzoda, has met here with Russia’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Igor Lyakin-Frolov.
Khoushnoud Rahmatulloyev, a spokesman for Tajik counter narcotics agency, says the two have discussed the progress of implementation of a cooperation agreement between the Drug Control Agency of Tajikistan and the Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) of Russia designed for 2015-2017.
Tajik drug control chief reportedly appreciated Russia’s support for the Tajik counter narcotics agency and highly appraised bilateral cooperation between the two countries in combating drug trafficking.
Russia, ambassador, for his part, highly appraised Tajik counter narcotics agency’s efforts to combat drug trafficking, Rahmatulloyev said.
