A 24-year-old resident of Dushanbe suspected of killing his grandparents.
Parents-in-law of Furqat Saidov, head of the Shashmaqom Ensemble, 94-year-old Rahmonboy Pirnazarov and 84-year-old Zebunisso Pirnazarova, were found stabbed to death in the their apartment in Dushanbe on September 5.
A source close to the Pirnazarov family says their 24-year-old grandson is suspected of killing them. “Three years ago he was convicted of theft and he was released in July this year,” said the source. “He has demanded that his grandparents pay his prison debts that have reached 24,000 somoni.”
He reportedly killed his grandparents inflicting multiple stab wounds on them.
