DUSHANBE, June 9, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik Embassy in Ankara recommends Tajik nationals to be very careful in Turkey and avoid public gathering places.
According to the Tajik MFA, no one Tajik national was injured in Turkey protests.
Representatives from the Tajik Embassy in Ankara have reportedly met with Tajik students studying in Turkey ad recommended them to be very careful and avoid public gathering places.
Turkey has had more than a week of unrest sparked by a police crackdown on a local protest over an Istanbul park.
Four people - including a police officer - are reported to have died, thousands have been injured and hundreds arrested in the unrest which began on May 31.
