DUSHANBE, December 17, 2013, Asia-Plus – Forty-six countries of the world have provided more than 81 million U.S. dollars worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first eleven months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Some 14,000 tons of humanitarian aid have reportedly been delivered to the country over the report period.

Among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from the United States – 64.4 percent, the Russian Federation – 12.7 percent, China – 4.5 percent, the Netherlands – 3.2 percent, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 1.9 percent each, Germany – 1.0 percent, India, the United Kingdom and Panama – 0.9 percent each, Korean – 0.8 percent, Iran and Latvia – 0.7 percent each, Ukraine – 0.5 percent, Kazakhstan and Belgium – 0.4 percent each, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, France and Malaysia – 0.3 percent each, Israel, Greece and Switzerland – 0.2 percent each, etc.
