DUSHANBE, November 3, 2015, Asia-Plus – The Legatum Institute ranks Tajikistan 91st among 142 countries in terms of prosperity.

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are ranked 56th and 57th respectively.

Meanwhile, Russia is ranked 58th, Belarus 63rd and Ukraine 70th.     

The 2015 Legatum Prosperity Index reveals that Norway is the most prosperous country in the world, closely followed by Switzerland and Denmark.

Meanwhile, the least prosperous countries are predominantly found in sub-Saharan Africa, with the Central African Republic bottom of the rankings.

Afghanistan is ranked 141st.
