Sughd authorities will provide assistance to vulnerable families on the occasion of the New Year.

By Sughd governor’s order humanitarian assistance will be provided to 900 vulnerable families in the province.

The assistance includes essential goods, food products and clothes, according to the press center of the Sughd regional administration. 

The assistance will be distributed to vulnerable families in Ayni (60 families), Asht (60 families), Bobojon-Ghafourov (80 families), Jabbor-Rasoulov (40 families), Spitamen (40 families), Shahriston (25 families), Devashtich (60 families), Zafarobod (50 families), Mastchoh (50 families) and Kuhistoni Mastchoh (20 families) districts as well as in the cities of Guliston (25 families) Istaravshan (80 families), Isfara (60 families), Istiqlol (20 families), Konibodom (60 families), Panjakent (80 families) and Khujand (65 families), the press center says. 

Besides, a lump-sum aid will be provided to orphans and people with disabilities who do not have relatives to support.
