On Tuesday January 15, President Emomali Rahmon attended an official opening of School No 65 in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district.

During the ceremony, Emomali Rahmon talked to schoolchildren, who had won prizes at republican and international Olympiads, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The head of state, in particular, talked to the 10-year-old Benyamin Ilhom, one of winners of the republican literary contest, dubbed “Furughi Subhi Donoi.”

The president asked: “What do you parents do?”

The boy said that his mother is housewife and his father is a border guard officer.

The president asked what the boy wanted to become in the future.

The boy said that he wanted to become a doctor and suddenly burst into tears.

“Why are you crying? Is anybody sick in your house?” asked Emomali Rahmon.

Benyamin said that he himself was sick and doctors said that he could be cured abroad.

Emomali Rahmon ordered relevant bodies to organize free treatment of the boy and report to him on the fulfillment of that order.

And here is the new school inaugurated by the president.
