International Clinic “Ibn Sina” has reported on infection of its employees.  But it does not note what exactly they got infected.

Abdukhalil Kholiqzod, the head of the Board of Directors of International Clinic “Ibn Sina,” has written on his Facebook page that several employees of the hospital contracted “the infectious disease which has spread across the country.

“The disease, unfortunately, took by surprise even medical workers.  Several employees of Clinic “Ibn Sina” have also contracted this disease and they are currently under the supervision of doctors.   I hope for their speedy recovery,” writes Kholiqzod.

He further noted that the hospital was making preparations for receiving patients.  According to him, the clinic employees are provided with protective equipment.   .

“We plan to complete preparation of the hospital for receiving infected patients by May 4,” Kholiqzod noted.

Meanwhile, he did not note what exactly the clinic doctors got infected.

Tajikistan has not reported single coronavirus infection yet -- prompting suspicions that the authorities are not accurately reporting information about the pandemic in the country.

International Clinic “Ibn Sina” began its activities in Dushanbe  in September 2009, with a high humane purpose to help the population with the participation of experienced doctors from Iran, Germany, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Clinic “Ibn Sina” is a joint international project.  In general, the Clinic is focused on treatment of patients with cardiac and urological diseases.  It uses the most modern and sophisticated equipment.
