On June 24-28, 2021, The ninth Open Eurasian Literature Festival & Book Forum was held in London, Great Britain on June 24-28, 2021.
The Open Eurasian Literature Festival & Book Forum (OEBF), organized by the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) together with the British publishing house Hertfordshire Press, has become a meeting place for writers, poets, artists and other representatives of art for the ninth time.
Every year, within the framework of the Open Eurasian Literature Festival & Book Forum, the winners of the Open Eurasia international literary competition are awarded, the total prize fund of which in 2020 was $40,000. In 2020, more than 1,000 applications were submitted by participants from 48 countries of the world.
Tajik young writer and poetess Zebuniso Rasulzoda has become laureate of the Open Eurasia international literary contest. Her novella “Revelations of the Muse” has been recognized the best in the “Small Prose” category.
Zebuniso Rasulzoda has been awarded the state sign “Excellence in Culture of Tajikistan” and TOP-50 of TRC Vatan. She is the only poet and writer in Tajikistan who creates in Tajik, English and Russian languages.
Zebuniso graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Languages of Khujand State University named after Bobojon Ghafurov in 2005 with diploma cum laude.
From 2006 to 2017 she lived and worked in Moscow as a translator of Arabic and English languages and was the Head of Middle East Zone Department in Investment Company. She visited UAE, Turkey, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Czech Republic during her business trips.
In 2016 she successfully graduated from the faculty of Management of the Plekhanov’s State Economic University.
She has started writing poems from her early childhood. Her first book “Pandname” was published in 2019. Her new books “Pandnoma”, “Revelations of the Muse”, “Adventures of Firuz” and “Pandname” were published in Tajik, English and Russian in 2020 and are available on Amazon and LitRes.
Her poems and prose are directed to discover to the reader the magic world of eastern fairytales and legends and provide them opportunity to dive deep into the Tajik and Persian wisdom, ethics and history. Through the legends and fairytales author shows how is important for humanity to feel responsibility for the environment, nature, society, each-other and themselves.
OEBF is the only literary festival in the world that has been promoting the literature of the Eurasian region at the international level since 2012. The festival provides an opportunity for authors to talk about their work, exchange experience and find like-minded people from around the world to implement joint projects.
