The head of the Khatlon region, Kurbon Hakimzoda, presented two athletes from Khatlon, who received the titles of world champions in international competitions in their weight categories, with a monetary reward.

The head of Khatlon handed over 20 thousand somoni to Sunatullo Navruzov, a pupil of the regional sports school of Khatlon, who in August of this year won the title of world champion in Abu Dhabi (in the weight category of 34 kg) in mixed martial arts.
