On January 25th, a ceremony took place in Dushanbe for the handover of two mobile laboratories to the local Center for Combating Quarantine Diseases. These laboratories were provided by the Russian side.

The laboratories, mounted on the "Sadko Next" vehicle chassis, are equipped for the study of infectious diseases, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and complying with biological safety standards, as reported by the Russian Embassy in Tajikistan on its Facebook page.

According to sources, these laboratories are intended for field research to identify the agents of infectious diseases in the environment. During the event, representatives from the Russian side emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in the field of healthcare, and the Tajik side expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation.

The transfer of laboratories is part of Rospotrebnadzor's long-term efforts to assist Tajikistan in combating infectious diseases and strengthening the country's healthcare system.
