The Public Council at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Moscow has announced the launch of a new service to provide legal assistance to Tajik citizens working, studying, and residing in Russia.
An official source within the Public Council says that to improve support for Tajiks and address their legal issues, a unified consultation phone number—+7 (965) 320 55 02—has been established and is available daily.
Through this number, citizens can receive free legal assistance, particularly on administrative violations and other issues related to their stay in Russia.
Consultations are provided by qualified lawyers, with a team of five specialists responding to each call. According to the Public Council, the hotline receives between 600 and 800 inquiries from citizens daily.
Additionally, for the convenience of citizens, open consultation days are held every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Public Council office (address: 3/40 Chayanova St., Office 302, near Mayakovskaya metro, Exit 1). During these hours, lawyers offer free legal advice and consultations.
"This initiative aims to enhance legal support for Tajik citizens in Russia, especially amid tightening migration laws and increasing pressures on foreign workers," the source added.
Tajik migrants have frequently expressed dissatisfaction with the limited assistance provided by Tajik representative offices in Russia.
