India on Monday successfully test fired two nuclear-capable Prithvi-II missiles, state television reported, citing defense officials.
The surface-to-surface Prithvi-II, India''s first domestically produced ballistic missile, with a range of 350 km, was shot twice from a test range in Orissa.
Two versions of the missile have already entered service with India''s army and air force.
India and its neighbor and longtime rival Pakistan routinely conduct test launches of their missiles.
