DUSHANBE, November 10, 2015, Asia-Plus -- New video of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants shooting down 200 Syrian children in a savage mass execution has recently surfaced online.

The Daily Mirror reports the video, which has been circulated online by a Yemen-based anti-ISIS activist, shows the children bound and forced to lie face down in a line.  The killers then open fire with automatic rifles.  The raw footage is too horrifying to be shown.

The veracity of the video has not been confirmed, but the terror group''s slick propaganda team is known to film their barbaric executions and circulate them.  ISIL is also known to have executed children in the past, according to the Daily Mirror .   

According to some other international media outlets, experts believe that it was filmed as part of ISIL extensive propaganda in 2014 in Syria.  The children are thought to be refugees fleeing violence in their country.

Meanwhile, The Independent reports that an expert has claimed that a video purporting to show ISIL militants murdering hundreds of Syrian children was allegedly filmed more than a year ago as propaganda for the terror organization.

The clip was seemingly filmed after the Islamic terror organization seized a Syrian government airbase, Tabqa, outside Raqqa in Syria, in August last year and apparently shows the execution of 250 Syrian soldiers, not children.

Charlie Winter, a senior researcher at the Quilliam Foundation, told  The Independent  the clip “definitely, definitely” did not show children being executed and labeled some reporting of the video as “incredibly irresponsible.”

Mr. Winter, who has watched both the newer version and the original of the same scene, claims the video was “filmed by an Islamic state fighter” as part of their extensive propaganda.

The terrorist group is notorious for horrific means of execution, including mass killings, public beheadings, dismemberment, running over with tanks and throwing people from tall buildings.

It’s not the first time ISIL have executed children — last year they murdered 1,700 military cadets in Saddam Hussein’s former presidential quarters in Iraq.
