The Russian authorities have extended the list of occupations for simplified citizenship.  The list has increased to 203 occupations.

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has extended the list of occupations and qualifications simplifying for foreigners and stateless persons to obtain the Russian citizenship. 

30 occupations included in the list bring the total number occupations for simplified Russian citizenship to 203.  

A relevant order on this subject has been published on the official website of legal information.  The list is posted on the official website of legal information. 

The order reportedly comes into force in six months after its official publication.  

It is known that currently the most demanded profession in Russia is the IT specialist.  The following professions were in demands in 2022: software developers; electronic engineers; mechanical engineers; nurses; doctors; construction engineers; electrical engineers; accountants; and IT analysts.
