Interfax, citing the Russian Interior Ministry’s Main Directorate in Moscow, reports that 82 foreign nationals have been detained after a clash with police officers.
The incident reportedly occurred on the evening of December 15 at the Sadvod Flee Market in Moscow.
The conflict reportedly began after a local police officer tried to check the documents of a 21-year-old migrant while he was in his car. The man didn’t comply and tried to flee, dragging the officer for several meters. He then got out of his car and hit the officer several times.
A few dozen people then arrived at the scene and began to clash with the police. The officers fired several warning shots into the air, and then began detaining people.
