Kazakh media reports say the governments of Kazakhstan and China intend to introduce a mutual visa-free regime.
“In this regard, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry has prepared a bill “On the Signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Mutual Exemption from Visa Requirements.” Kazinform reports
According to the document, Kazakhstanis will be able to stay without a visa in China, and Chinese citizens in Kazakhstan for no more than 30 days from the moment of crossing the border and 90 days 90 days in a 180-day period.
If the citizens of the state of one of the parties intend to stay in the territory of the country of the other party for longer than the prescribed period, then they must apply for an appropriate visa before entering the territory of the country.
As far as citizens of Tajikistan are concerned, they are required to have a visa when travelling to China.
