DUSHANBE, April 6, Asia-Plus - The “Public Health” Program of the Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/ Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF) today is distributing 12 wheelchairs, 113 pairs of shoes (two pairs per each child) and 130 kits of nappies for bed-ridden children to the “Chorbogh” orphanage.
According to the source, they have also purchased playing and developing supplies for US$1,500 to the survivors of the “Chorbogh” orphanage fire.
Besides, on occasion of a World Health Day, which is marked on April 7, the Tajik Branch of the OSI/AF has handed over medical books (26 designations in total) in various medical disciplines and 130 copies of textbooks for a total amount of US$4,661.80 to the library
