Kazakh, Syrian Governments are to sign an agreement on mutual protection and encouragement of investments, reported Ministry of Industry and Trade press office on August 14.
The document is expected to be signed on Aug 16 in Damask within a Promotion of export products of Kazakhstan enterprises to the Syrian market business-seminar, reported the press office.
The workshop is aimed at study of the products of Kazakh commodity producers which have potential for entrance to the Syrian market and discussion of common problems and ways of further development of Kazakh-Syrian mutual trade. Kazakh delegation will be headed there by Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Yedil Mamytbekov.
Mr. Mamytbekov is believed to meet with Minister of Economy and Trade of Syria Amer Hosni Lutfi. “We intend to consider an opportunity of delivery of light and pharmaceutical industry products from Syria to Kazakhstan and Syria’s participation in establishment of textile cluster in our country”, a press release reads.
