Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev had a phone conversation on 30 March. They discussed the pace of implementation of a number of joint projects, including Caspian gas pipeline, Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline as well as Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railroad.
The heads of state also exchanged views on a wide range of issues related to interstate cooperation in bilateral and regional format.
Berdymuhamedov invited Nursultan Nazarbaev for a visit to Turkmenistan. The invitation was accepted with gratitude. Dates of the visit will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
