French President Nicolas Sarkozy is expected to make official visit to Kazakhstan this autumn. This visit was delayed from June to autumn. In view of the forthcoming visit, Prime Minister Karim Masimov today met with French Presidential Special Envoy Damian Loras, reported the prime minister''s press office.
Karim Masimov and Damian Loras discussed the current state and prospects of the bilateral Kazakh-French relations, as well as forthcoming visit of French President Nicolas Sarkozy to Kazakhstan.
"The two sides reiterated the strive to boost bilateral strategic cooperation in different sectors of economy and expressed their confidence that the Kazakh-French relations will develop further successfully," the press service said.
