DUSHANBE, August 9, 2016, Asia-Plus – Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee on Defense Affairs has worked out a draft government resolution temporarily restricting travels of youth liable to conscription abroad.

The draft resolution has been put on public discussion and posted on the Kyrgyz government’s official website, Radio Liberty’s Kyrgyz Service reports.

The draft resolution provides for regulations determining the mechanism of implementation of the exit restriction for youth liable to conscription.

The draft resolution authors note that both internal and external migration situation as well as the current economic situation in Kyrgyzstan create preconditions for evasion of military service.
