KHOROG, May 30, Asia-Plus - Under the Mass Media Program Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF) has donated a bulk of various books to the Khorog-based “Pomir” Public Association (Pamir Mass Media).
The “Pomir” Public Association head Qurbon Alamshoyev has told Asia-Plus noted that those 200 books were not the first step made by international and local public associations to support their organization. “At present our library has some 3,000 books, mainly on journalism, work of mass media and public associations, advertisement in media, etc,” Mr. Alamshoyev said.
According to him, the OSI/AF Tajik Branch has donated practically the same amount of books to library at Khorog State University as well.
