DUSHANBE, June 7, Asia-Plus -- Deputy Director of Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA), Fayzullo Abdulloyev, Wednesday [June 7] met with Mr. Peter Aizeks (phonetically pronounced), the head of the European Union Border Management Program and Drug Action in Central Asia (BOMCA/CADAP), in Dushanbe to discuss cooperation issues.
According to information from the DCA, in the course of the talks the two discussed issues related to the completion of construction of the branch of the canine center in Khorog, the capital of Gorno Badakhshan, and further use of it by the region’s power-wielding and law enforcement structures.
Besides, their talks focused on cooperation between the DCA and BOMCA/CADAP in promoting the implementation of the strategy of development of specialized canine service in Tajikistan signed by heads of Tajikistan’s ministries of interior, security, state revenues and tax collection, border service and drug control agency.
