DUSHANBE, February 2, Asia-Plus - A special operation carried out by police in the northern district of Bobojonghafurov on February led to the seizure of some 30 kilograms of heroin, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI)
The source at a MoI said that a 30-year-old resident of the Bobojonghafurov district Abdumannon Normatov was arrested yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking. “When searching his house police found 29.844 kilograms of heroin,” the source said.
The MoI source added that the same day, 870 grams of heroin were confiscated from the passenger of the Dushanbe-Khujand Soleh Kholiqov at the Khujand railway station.
