DUSHANBE, April 17, Asia-Plus - The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour is expected to arrive in Tajikistan on April 25 for a five-day visit. She will visit Tajikistan as part of her tour of Central Asia.
According to the United Nations Tajikistan Office of Peace-Building (UNTOP), UN High Commissioner for Human Rights will visit Tajikistan by invitation of Tajik Government. Louise Arbour’s visit to Tajikistan will last till April 29.
Ms. Arbour will also visit Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. It is her first visit to the Central Asian region.
