DUSHANBE, February 10, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- Work on reviewing the plan of government’s activities to mitigate effects of the global financial crisis is expected to be completed by February 15, Anvar Latipov, an aide to economic development and trade minister, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

As it had been reported earlier, Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov signed the plan of anticrisis measures on December 31, 2008.

“The interdepartmental commission for mitigation of the financial crisis effects is currently reviewing the document taking into consideration proposals of relevant ministries and organizations,” said Latipov, “Taking into account a rapidly changing situation, the commission is tasked to determine and develop the immediate events.”

The plan of anticrisis activities consists of five components: tax-budgetary policy; state support for real sector of economy; providing population with jobs; ensuring food security; and general events on carrying out reforms, the aide said.
