DUSHANBE, June 16, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Russian private company, RosGeoPerspektiva, has opened its office in Tajikistan.
The office was reportedly registered with the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan on May 30, 2014.
Specialists from RosGeoPerspektiva visited Tajikistan several months ago to discuss cooperation issues with senior representatives of the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan.
“The sides discussed a broad range of issues and the Russian side showed interest in organizing work in Tajikistan,” an official source at the Main Geology Directorate told Asia-Plus in an interview.
“In Russia, geological expeditions may be both state-run and private while in Tajikistan, the geological expeditions are run only by the government,” said the source. “It is quite possible that RosGeoPerspektiva has opened its office in Tajikistan in order to establish a joint geological expedition or to launch an affiliate in Tajikistan.”
Founded on June 12, 1997, the RosGeoPerspektiva is a private company integrating a number of enterprises, engaged in geological study of ore and non-metallic fields in Russia (Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg oblasts, the Komi Republic, the Chukotka Autonomous District, and the Far East) and the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information posted on RosGeoPerspektiva’s website, the company has achieved big results and implemented more than 50 projects in the territory of Russian Federation and the adjoining states over the past seventeen years.
