DUSHANBE, July 16, 2015, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Finance (MoF) board held a meeting yesterday to discuss issues related to administration of the national budget over the first six months of this year and efficient development and management of public finance this year, according to the MoF Secretariat.

Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Finance Abdusalom Qurboniyon expressed dissatisfaction with the implementation of the national budget in the first half-year of 2015.

Over the report period, the national budget has reportedly received 230 million somoni less than expected.

A total volume of the national budget has stood at 6.3113 billion somoni over the same six-month period, which was 96.3 percent of the clarified target.

The national budget for 2015 is projected to stand at 15.278 billion somoni, which is 10 percent more than the last year’s budget indicators.

The maximum deficit rate of the national budget for 2015 is projected to be equal to 0.5 percent of domestic gross product (GDP) or 264.1 million somoni.
