Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday afternoon visited Tajikistan’s stand at the International Pavilion of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 (EXPO) in Beijing, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Obi Zulol (a water bottling plant in Tajikistan), Zoda, Subhi Vatan, Asali Tojik (Tajikistan’s Honey), Intermed, Abrikos (Apricot) Company, Oro Isfara, Barakati Isfara, Isfara Fruits, Mevai Kand, and Ecofruits Isfara are representing Tajikistan at this gardening show. 

Expo 2019 is a world horticultural exposition presented by the Bureau International des Expositions and is being held in Beijing’s Yanqing District.  The exposition kicked off today and will close on October 7, 2019.  The site is 503 hectares, and 16 million visitors are expected.

It is reportedly the largest ever gardening show.  Two villages were relocated for the expo.  More than 110 countries international organizations are participating in this exhibition.
