KHUJAND, September 26, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The body the 21-year-old resident of Sughd’s Bobojonghafurov district Ghafurjon Yuldoshev was returned home from Russia this week.
Ghafurjon worked at a construction site at the town of Marfino in the Moscow region.
Ghafurjon relative, Qimsanboy Yuldoshev, told Asia-Plus that the incident had taken place after the football match.
“Tajik migrants played football with local residents and won that became the reason for quarrel that arose after the game,” said Qimsanboy, “Somebody struck Ghafurjon with iron stick in the fight and he died on the spot.”
