DUSHANBE, June 21, 2013, Asia-Plus – The 35-year-old resident of the village of Vahdat in the Hisor district, Bakhtiyor Safarov, is accused of brutally killing his wife in a fit of jealousy.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, Bakhtiyor Safarov has been arrested by officers from the Interior Ministry’s office for Hisor on suspicion of brutally killing his wife.
The tragedy took place in the morning of June 20, at around 9:00 am. Safarov reportedly inflicted 14 stab wounds on his wife Farahnoz Nozimova, 30.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Bakhtiyor Safarov and an investigation is under way.
