DUSHANBE, December 14, Asia-Plus A judge with a court in Shohmansur District of Dushanbe, Pahlavon Akramov, and a secretary at this court, Mahmadullo Zohirov, have been charged with bribery-taking, press service of the Prosecutor-General’s Office reported.
According to the Prosecutor-General’s Office press service, officers of the Security Ministry and the Prosecutor-General’s Office caught them red-handed when they were taking bribe from relatives of one of defendants. US$200 were confiscated from them, according to the source.
The Dushanbe prosecutor’s office has instituted criminal proceedings against them under Article 319, Part 4 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Court - bribery; investigation is under way.
