DUSHANBE, January 30, Asia-Plus -- A progress of work on paying certain communal services; subsidies to the vulnerable families in Dushanbe was discussed at a January 29 meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office presided over by its head Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev
The vulnerable families in Dushanbe receive subsidies for paying electricity and natural gas services, according to Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor.
The spokesman said that the mayor had demanded at the meeting that work of special commission for supporting such families and paying certain communal services’ subsidies should be taken under control.
The meeting also discussed issues related to improving labor discipline, raising legal literacy of the population and opportunely considering applications and complaints lodged by people to the municipal bodies.
