President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, in his congratulatory speech on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the country's Armed Forces, noted that military and law enforcement agencies should pay special attention to the development of the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, reports the press service of the head of state.

"In a rapidly changing world, special attention should be paid to retraining military personnel, improving their professionalism and mastering new technologies, including artificial intelligence. It is also important to modernize the equipment and create better conditions for service. Remind you that in the crisis conditions of today's world and the growing threats to the security of society and the state, one of our most important tasks is to strengthen the country's defense power," - he said.

He noted that the leadership and command staff of the Armed Forces, as well as other military and law enforcement agencies, should ensure constant readiness and equipping troops with modern weapons and equipment, taking into account the rapidly changing conditions on the world stage.

According to him, the current global military and political situation, the intensification of the arms race and the cold war require military personnel to be highly prepared to perform tasks.

The President also touched upon the growing activity of extremist and terrorist groups, drug trafficking and cybercrime, which makes it necessary to introduce modern methods and technologies into the work of army and law enforcement agencies.

"One of the most important tasks is to strengthen the country's defense capability in the face of increasing threats," - said Emomali Rahmon.

On February 23, Tajikistan celebrated the 32nd anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces. In honor of this event, celebrations were held in the country, including military parades and festivals of officer friendship.
