DUSHANBE, October 25, 2011 Asia-Plus -- Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Tajikistan, Saymumin Yatimov, today departed for Baku, Azerbaijan to attend the next session of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Service that is being held there from October 26-28.
The SCNS press center reports the Baku session is expected to discuss issues related to cooperation between the special services of the CIS member nations in combating religious extremism, terrorism, illegal migration and drug trafficking.
The meeting is also supposed to consider the plan of actions of the Council as well as project events of the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center for 2012.
