The 11th session of the heads of national counter-terrorism centers of CIS member nations kicked off in Moscow today. 

According to the CIS Executive Committee press center, priorities of cooperation between competent agencies of the CIS member nations in combating terrorism are on the top of the agenda of this two-day session.

Tajikistan is represented at the session by senior officers of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).

The session participants are reportedly discussing the level of terrorist threats at the present stage, prospects of development of the situation under conditions of transformation of global terrorist threat in the Syrian-Iraqi zone and possible forms of terrorism manifestations along CIS external border with Afghanistan.  

They will also discuss issues related to conducting anti-terror drills in Kyrgyzstan this year, information and analytical activities of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center in 2018 as well as training of personnel for national counter-terrorism centers, the CIS Executive Committee press center said.
