KHUJAND, November 2, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday November 1, Sughd governor Qohir Rasoulzoda introduced newly appointed chairpersons of the Bobojonghafurov district and cities of Khujand and Qairoqqum.
We will recall that President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes at an October 29 meeting reviewing the results of the past nine months’ work. A number of regional administrators in Sughd and Khatlon provinces were replaced.
Lutfullo Muhiddinov was relieved of his post of chairman of the Bobojonghafurov district for shortcomings in his work.
Sodiqjon Mirkholiqov, formerly mayor of Khujand, was appointed acting chairman of the Bobojonghafurov district.
Rajabboy Karimov, formerly mayor of Qairoqqum, was appointed acting mayor of Khujand and Khudoinazar Yuldoshev, formerly first deputy mayor of Qairoqqum, was appointed acting mayor of Qairoqqum.
