DUSHANBE, November 8, 2013, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday November 7, representatives of the Tajik MFA, senior representatives of the Roudaki district administration and a delegation of the diplomatic corps accredited to Tajikistan handed over assistance (computer equipment) to the boarding school in the Roudaki district, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
The ceremony was attended by senior representatives of diplomatic missions active in Dushanbe, Tajik Deputy Foreign minister Mahmoudjon Sobirov and Tajik Public Charity President Talbak Nazarov.
The funds (32,000 somoni) for purchasing gifts for the boarding school pupils have been collected at international charitable cooking festival that took place at Yoqout-200 Restaurant in Dushanbe on September 21. The event was organized by Dushanbe Ambassadors Club (DAC) and Dushanbe Social Club under patronage of the Tajik MFA, the source said.
